The Ingwe Group of Companies has been in existence since 1977 when the first ‘office’ opened in Sydney manufacturing garments under contract to the New South Wales government. Since then the Group has expanded outwards and upwards into the sourcing and merchandising of garment trims and accessories for sale to companies of all sizes throughout Australia, Asia, South Africa, Europe and the U.S.A. Our office in Hong Kong, established some 21 years ago, has been one of the corner-stones on which our business has been built. The other, and probably more influential foundation was and still is Japan. Quality, smaller quantities and efficient logistics, epitomized by our great Japanese partners, have given Ingwe the means to develop into the company we are today. Our latest endeavour is the sourcing and supply of top quality swimming pool alarms in an effort to combat the rising toll of pool accidents and death in Australia, particularly amongst young children. Finally, we are, first and foremost, a Trading company with particular expertise in dealing with Asian manufacturers. Over the years we have been asked to find a remarkably diverse range of products from doll’s hair to the most sophisticated electronic equipment.
